Editorial Policy
My France Experience aims to publish travel content that is useful when a reader actually has to make a decision: where to base themselves, how long to stay, what is worth booking, how to move around and what practical constraints can change the plan.
Practical usefulness first
Our guides prioritise realistic timing, transport, parking, seasonal conditions, family considerations, accessibility, booking requirements, alternatives and common planning mistakes rather than simply listing attractions.
Sources and changing information
For information that changes regularly, we prefer authoritative sources such as official tourism offices, transport operators, museums, attractions, parks and public authorities. Readers should still recheck time-sensitive details before travel.
Corrections
When a significant factual error or outdated practical detail is identified, we aim to correct it. Readers can send corrections to myfranceexperience@gmail.com and should include the relevant article URL and, when possible, an official supporting source.
Commercial relationships
Affiliate relationships can support the cost of operating the site, but commercial availability does not determine the editorial conclusion. Sponsored or affiliate links are treated as commercial links and disclosed appropriately.
Updates
Articles may be reviewed and updated as destinations, transport and attractions change. A more recent date does not guarantee that every external detail will remain unchanged after publication, which is why critical details should be checked at source.
